We considered that the receiving of materials (main raw materials, secondary and packing materials) it doesn’t consist only in the simple act of discharging it by any way inside of the company and to store it somewhere where a free space exists, for later use.

The reception and the correct storage of materials are quite important, they should be standardized with receiving procedures and also verification of the Quality, executed before storing them.

Very bad results are know due to receiving or incorrect storage (degradation, mold, yellowish color, drying or lost of your main characteristic, function, etc.).

The basic rule to create internal procedures of receiving and storage is to have always in mind in which point the material should be used, transported or handled.

This demonstrates the importance of defining the correct flow of the materials in the company.
